About the show The Alaska Highway Road Show, (AHRS) is a touring celebration marking the occasion of the famous route’s 75th anniversary.  The show launches in early July, 2017, at the Provincial Archives of Alberta as part of Edmonton’s Historic Festival. Western Command Convoy – Exhibit of Vehicles – Fort St John

The Western Command Convoy is coming back to the Fort St. John North Peace Museum to mark the 75th anniversary of the construction of the Alaska Highway. They’ll be driving their historic military vehicles (jeeps, trucks, motorcycles, etc.) up the highway for this anniversary. Come down to the museum grounds to see them on July 21. Travel and Tourism along the Alaska Highway Presentations – Fort St John

Alaska Highway Cemetery Tour

Join us for a guided cemetery tour of the Fort St. John Cemetery on 100 Ave. Learn about the connection of many of the people buried there to the Alaska Highway. From construction workers to entrepreneurs to ambulance drivers, the cemetery is full of people who worked and lived along the highway. Tour is $10 and can be paid at the gate of the cemetery prior to the tour. Call 250-787-0430 for more information.
